The Fresenius 5008 machine is far and beyond years ahead of anything else I have worked on. It has all the usual suspects - OCM, BVM and BTM. Also it far easier to work with, telling the user how to set it up with graphic instructions etc.
The big plus is the easy setup of online HDF making it the first truly frequent HDF machine. The unit that I work in has gone fully with the 5008 for our hospital and acute units and is showing good perofrmance.
Is it reg in the USA? I thought you couldn't do online HDF?
