In my home program, we are not permitted to give iron at home through the machine port. We have to come in-center where the nurse gives the iron through a buttonhole. Wondering if you feel this is a safe protocol for a fistula?

TY, when you delayed in answering I put the question to Dr. Agar and did get my answer. I initially thought you might know this info since you are a cannulation expert. Thought you might know how various units give iron and what is safe for the access.
