Hi has anyone had problems with bugs like gnats being on pd. Nothing has been leaking. And I don’t know what to use to get ride of them, afraid to spray chemmicals near or around bags / and where I do my exchanges. thanks
Jenjen, I would bet that those are fruit flies, attracted to the sugar in your PD fluid. They are tricky to get rid of, since starving them out seems to work best–and you don’t have any choice about having the sugary PD fluid around. There are several different types, though, and if you can figure out which type, you might be able to get them to go away. It’s also a good idea to ask your PD nurse–you can’t be the only person who’s had this problem.
