Hello,
I have seen the topic of infection come up from time to time in here. People talk about losing their catheters to infection. Does anyone know how serious a staph infection to a newly implanted catheter can be, and what the most likely scenario will be.
My father just had his cath put in last week and everything is on hold now until the infection clears.
