There have been questions recently about the NxStage and nocturnal use. I was at my clinic yesterday and inquired about it as they had said they are only using NxStage machines now, so I asked if they had given up on nocturnal. They replied that they use the NxStage for nocturnal using the stand alone heparin pump.
This unit is in California and currently has at least a couple patients using it for nocturnal.
I believe they do the standard 8 hours. Still use same number of bags but adjust blood flow down so time goes up. Not sure what other details you would want.
