My pre-BUN number was 90…that seemed to me to high??? (post it was down in the 30’s) As most of you know I a month ago swicthed to Nxstage… I don’t remember in the past having such a high number. I think that it was more around 70…
I have not been eating more… What do you guys think? Could it be a machine thing?

For someone dialyzing short-daily looks normal…your managing it more gentle and not harsh like 3x weekly…

I just checked with the clinic on my last 8 Buns pre and post,
You might want to compare your own numbers for the different months to each other and not go by just one Bun.
Pre: 38, 58,62,33,52,42,58,42 Post: 22,25,31,16,28,18,16
These were with 4-6 Tx a week usualy 5 sometimes 6
I am showing you 8 months so you can see they vary from the low of 33 to a high of 62 on the pre BUN
I am now firmly ensconced in 6-7 TX/ wk, but haven’t done labs in about a month.
