Today is World Kidney Day!

John Davis, National CEO, writes:

We are very pleased to announce that, in recognition of the first ever
World Kidney Day, NASDAQ has invited the National Kidney Foundation to
ring its closing bell tomorrow. The Chairman of the Greater New York
Affiliate and forty NKF volunteers and staff members will be present
during the ceremony as guests of NASDAQ.

During the closing bell ceremony, the NKF logo will be projected on the
NASDAQ tower screen in Times Square, and an NKF public service
announcement on chronic kidney disease will run periodically for three
hours following. The NASDAQ MarketSite Tower stands seven stories tall
and is the world’s largest stationary video screen.

You can tune in to the live television broadcast on CNBC or Bloomberg at
4:00 pm Eastern time to witness this special occasion.

Included among the World Kidney Day activities that will take place
March 9th in the U.S. is a Congressional reception in Washington, D.C.,
hosted by our Chairman Chuck Fruit.

World Kidney Day calls attention to the growing threat that kidney
disease poses globally. The National Kidney Foundation is leading the
U.S. efforts which are designed to build kidney disease awareness and
educate those at risk about the importance of early detection. We are
encouraging all Americans to learn their family health history to see if
they are at increased risk for developing Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
As always, we are referring the public to our website www.kidney.org for
more information.

NASDAQ tells us that you can obtain a hi-resolution photograph of the
