We just made the switch from NxStage to Tablo. With any leftover dialysate on NS we either pushed it down the drain line or cut open the SAK into the tub. We were told that, unlike PD chemicals, the plantlife wouldn’t be happy with NS dialysate.
I’m wondering since Tablo uses separate jugs of concentrated bicarb and acid, had anyone found any household or gardening uses for the leftover fluids? I live in the desert of AZ and hate to always just flush fluids if there is a benefit.
Any thoughts?
