From Nephrology News and Issues. Renal Solutions currently has approval from the FDA to market this system for chronic and acute dialysis only. Renal Solutions is expected to begin clinical trials soon under an FDA Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) to study the safety of the Allient System for dialysis in the home setting.
