I’m not sure whether your husband is on home hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. People on dialysis can have itchy skin due to high phosphorus. Has he had his labs done recently? Is his phosphorus level high? If he has been scratching, that could leave a bloody patch. I’d suggest reporting this to his doctor or home training nurse. It might help to send a picture if he has a cell phone with a camera.
