We know that Home-Hemodialysis (HHD) is a great way for us to receive our treatments in the
comfort of our own homes and with the assistance of a family member or close friend who we
are already comfortable with. However, sometimes we may feel isolated and would like to
benefit from speaking with other patients who face similar situations and share some of our
concerns. We also know it can be challenging for our caregivers – who do so much for us - and
that they may benefit from connecting with other caregivers.
It is for this reason that DPC will hold its first ever Home-Hemodialysis Support Group
conference call on Saturday November 10th at 11:00a.m. Eastern Time. All HHD patients and
their caregivers (and those currently in training for HHD) are invited to join the call. Please feel
free to invite others who are a part of your HHD program to participate.
The group will address personal problems which can be shared with other participants –
patients as well as their caregivers. There will be no preset agenda and no notes will be taken.
The meeting will be limited to one hour and will be held monthly so call in and join us!
If you would like to receive future announcements about the HHD support group meetings
please complete the enclosed contact information form. If you would like DPC to list your name,
email address, and/or phone number on a contact list so that other patients and caregivers can
speak with you outside of the monthly calls please mark the box that says “Share my
information with other patients and caregivers.” DPC will not disclose your information to any
other parties.
You may send your completed information forms to:
