Hello— I am a hemo dialysis tech in New York. I work as a sole proprietor on private basis. I am looking to expand and hire more care givers. I am also looking to accept medicare and other insurances to increase my client base. Can someone help in guiding me with this?

If you’re providing staff-assisted home dialysis, unfortunately Medicare does not cover that. However, some commercial insurances and long-term care plans may.

Thanks for responding to my post. In order to accept commercial insurances, do I need to apply for a NPI number?
