Graft complications

If an av graft has lumps or swelling when should a patient start to worry about it?

Lumps/swelling on your vascular access can be an aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm. I’d definitely make sure your nephrologist has a chance to look at it and evaluate what needs to be done. Here’s an article that might make you think of questions to ask your doctor.

You might also want to review online or download the vascular access module (Module 8) on Kidney School.

I just read that article and am informing my home dialysis nurse now … thank you.
