Hepititis B and Home Hemodialysis

Does anyone have a Hep B patient on HHD? If so are there special procedures that need to be in place or special disposing of supplies, etc??? I can not find anything stating that a Hep B patient should not perform HHD, but it seems kinda risky to me…any suggestions or guidance?

I don’t work in a dialysis facility, but would think it’d be less risky to have such a patient at home, using only one machine, than in a center. Beth, do you know what the regulations are here?
