I was on HDF which helped pains in my shoulders but I cannot do HDF in my present clinic. I use a Gambro polyflux 21L but have been told that if I use a Hi Flux dialyser on a Gambro that this will help remove the microglobulins better but not as good HDF. Is this correct? I will need reference material to convince my renal doctor of this as she says it does not.
