Home dialysis: Who is doing the work

For your home hemodialysis program, what percentage of the “work” would you say the patient does and what percentage would you say the care partner does? And for those of you with a successful home hemo program, what percentages would you say work best, 90/10, 75/25 or 50/50 (patient percentaged first)?

If possible, the patient is encouraged to do as much as possible. Some patients are not able so the care partner must do more of the work. There are many patients out there who do 100% of the work. There is nothing that says that one must do a certain percentage of the work. Different circumstances arise where the workload may change.
