Hi all, before the topic is lost on a side trip to another issue I would just like to ask that those that are using the Nxstage machine please let us know how you are being funded. I love home hemo, no doubt about that but I would like to be able to travel freely and have a little more free time. Thank you for all your posts and please continue to offer anything you feel might help with the money part of Nxstage.

Would suggest you contact a NxStage rep. The rep I spoke to explained to me that docs rent machine and they make the same thing they make for incenter patients as there is no overhead for building or nursing staff. Said docs are unfamilar with how the economics work, but once it is explained to them they are ok with it.
