My father Mr shivashankerprasad died on the night of 19/4/07 .
he had sharp pain in the lower part of his body and we took him to hospital he was declared dead.
he was on dialysis since last two years and was 66 years old.

I saw your post to the CAPD listserv, too. I’m so sorry for your loss. We have a profile of him on this site at: http://www.homedialysis.org/resources/stories/prasad/. He contacted us to write this story, because it was very important to him that people know the reality of dialysis in India, and how difficult it is to get PD. It was very courageous of him to try to raise awareness and make things better for others, even while he was having trouble himself.
OMG…I can’t believe it…What did the pain end up being?? This is just unbelievable…I was just talking to him a week ago…This is SO scary to me…That’s the second dialysis death since I’ve been on dialysis (1yr)…I’m just in shock…
