Do those on NxStage or other models for SDD find that your bp on the tx can go much lower than on 3x in-center txs without any low bp incidents? How low can your bp go before you start having a problem?
Have you taken your bp outside of tx to see if it is more normalized since doing SDD?
I can only tell you about our experience on nocturnal. When my father was in center; I took him to Emergency more than once because of hypotension. When we started nocturnal I was really worried about this.
Much to my surprise since being on nocturnal he hasn’t had any hypotension episodes. The only thing I can contribute it to is that he doesn’t have the amount of fluid to remove he had in center do to more dialysis and what he does have is removed slower because of the treatment time.
