My husband does PD and drains very slowly towards then end of his exchange. He does not get enough fluid off unless he does several very long exchanges during the day. The cycler will not work for him as it keeps alarming that he has low drain volume. It would seem that his Omentum is impeding the movment of the catheter and we are considering surgical removal of some or all of the Omentum. I would appreciate any comments/sugestions on this type of procedure. This seems to be our last chance of getting PD to work for him. He does not want to do HD.
