Dear Stuart, after knowing of touch cannulation for quite some time, I started using it myself a couple of weeks ago after getting frustrated with a new buttonhole that I had to keep going back to sharps to keep going. It works so amazingly well, I wanted to do a post on my blog.

I do have a quick question. What is the history behind touch cannulation and who is credited with inventing this method?

I invented it in 2008 when the problem was noted that we continue to damage buttonhole tunnel tracks. This touch cannulation was the solution
