Hello everyone! My name is Arnie, and I’m glad to be a part of your community. :slightly_smiling_face:

My name is Dennis. New to forum, looks very informative. I am 74 yrs old I have done 4 yr. PD and 1 yr hhd. I’ve had fistula troubles most of the hhd, a bad infiltration, plus a aneurism. Had to use my perm cath plenty. Now i have a graft in left arm that i will start using soon. Hoping to learn some good things that may help me.

Hi Dennis,
Sorry I didn’t see your post until today. I hope you have looked at the forum for HD patients. You might also be interested in knowing that Medical Education Institute that started this Forum has a website called Home Dialysis Central where you can find lots of information on many topics of interest to patients and their loved ones. You can find it at https://homedialysis.org/.

You might also consider checking out the Home Dialysis Central Facebook group if you’re on Facebook. It’s a members-only group so what you write can only be seen by other members of the group. There are around 8,000 members of that group. Some are on HD, others on PD, some have been on one or the other and have had a transplant and there are professional members as well. People have found it to not only be educational but a source of support, which all of us can use from time to time. Feel free to ask questions and share your experiences. You can find the group on Facebook. Search for Home Dialysis Central.
